Structured Cabling
Southern Voice & Data, based in Swindon, Wiltshire, employ telephone and telecoms system engineers that are fully manufacturer trained and accredited on all phone systems that we work on. Likewise our structured cabling and IT engineers are vastly experienced and accredited on all products that we supply and install.
For over 13 years we have provided the following to customers throughout the south and the midlands.
- Installation of new phone systems and VoIP / hosted phone systems
- Moves and changes to phone systems
- Relocation of your existing phone system
- Add-ons of hardware and software, expansions (new cards and handsets)
- Engineers trained on BT / Openreach line fault finding
- Installations of telephone sockets and data cabling (cat5, cat6 and fibre)

New System Installations
Installations vary depending on whether moving office and changing your type of phone line. If BT Openreach are involved with installing new lines then we will project manage that for you meaning that you don’t need to get involved and also that we can plan any line installs around our engineering schedule so that installs go smoothly and without downtime.
Site Surveys
Our engineers carry out site surveys before every install to ensure that we have all information come the day of install and that if the customer has forgotten or failed to inform us of anything we don’t have a nasty shock when we do come to install.
Training
Our engineers also provide training for small installs and simple system requirements but we also have a dedicated trainer who is highly experienced in providing training on all aspects of your new phone system to ensure that you get the very best from your investment.
